AZ GOVERNOR EXEC 34 SALONS AND DINE IN
On behalf of Mayor Teso and City Council,
Attention City of South Tucson Restaurants and Business Owners:
Provided is a brief summary on the lasted Executive Order issued by Governor Ducey on Monday, May 4, 2020.
Today at 3pm the Governor held and additional press conference on reopening the Arizona economy.
The a few major takeaways of the press conference were:
- Hair salons and barber shops can open May 8th with enhanced sanitation protocols (Governor appeared to sail nail salons and massage facilities would be a phase 2 reopening for these services, we’ll monitor guidance for an update)
- Restaurants can reopen to in-facility dining beginning May 11th with enhanced sanitation protocols (more clarity to be provided for bars)
- Gyms will remain closed for the time being
